School & The Way of Life;

This is an early morning post, barely into class right now. Already detesting it, loathing it in so many ways. I am honestly trying to figure out why am I still trying? This school, the teachers and every ignorant bastard that walk the halls have no real meaning to me. Yes I have those very few teachers that I like and know try,  and of course I have my friends, whom I could never go without. It's just all these extras, these people who don't really believe that I am going far in life.

Farther than them at least.

Teachers, they are selfish and ignorant. They are ordered to teach things that just have no real meaning in our lives. They are like mini dictators, who take advantage of the authority they are given. And it's not just the teachers, it's the adminitrastion. They take advantage of what they are given, targeting those that they have low standards on. Guess what? Those students are the ones who are probably the most intelligent, talented and whatever other great expectations they may have and because you belittle them for acting out a few times, you put them down more and more, probably more than they already have.

If you get to know your students, maybe you can see that they have a story. They have a hard life and it's not their fault for the way they are. Teachers and adminitrastion are just ignorant fools. Now of course there are students that are the same way, just acting out to be cute or acting like they are still in grade school. I mean, enjoy life but learn how to grow up too. You can't be a kid forever, you're no Peter Pan kids! Because whether you like it or not, you will age, you will get gray hairs, you will wrinkle, and you will die. It's the way of life.

Now, I hate school. I use to enjoy it but now I hate it. Many reasons but I refuse to bore you to death. So, mainly I just do my work and study so that teachers will get off my ass about it. That's some good advice for those of you who like to complain all the damn time. Because once I'm done, graduated and holding that diploma. I am going for my dreams, my goals and no one can tell me otherwise.

But, my dreams and goals will be set aside for another time. Another post. Whenever I feel the time is right. But, till then. Just learn to live life. And even if you think school is not for you, prove people wrong. School is something for everyone, just gotta find the place in school and suits you. & ignore the whiny teachers, just don't be a dummy and speak without thinking. Then you are a whiny student.

The Roommate, Review?!

Thriller, drama and horror movies have become a fascination amongst all age groups in society. From the very first being in silent film, such as The Phantom of the Opera or Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Except in all honesty, the past few years, any type of thriller or horror, even drama have been very doubtful to me. Though the media reels you in with a very well put together trailer, with promising action, sex and gore scenes. It's that moment that you are sitting in the comfy big red seat, popcorn in one arm and a large drink in the other. You find yourself very displeased.

So, this past Saturday I was having a girl's night with two very good friends of mine. Victoria and Dora. We had the night planned, dinner and a movie. Well, our luck at AppleBee's was cut short when we viewed an overly packed waiting area. But don't fear! Bob Evan's was very near. After a yummy meal and laughs, we'd set off to The Legends 14 Movie Theater.

Now the concept of The Roommate is this. College student Sara ( Minka Kelly ) finds that her new roommate Rebecca ( Leighton Meester ) has an obsession with her, which quickly turns violent. A good plot, right? Well of course what I was expecting to see, wasn't really what I got to see. The movie was filled with well known actors and actresses from shows like The Vampire Diaries, HellCats, 90210; also appearing with actors like Billy Zane and the yummy Cam Gigandet. Now I am not one to likes to give away the endings to movies or anything specific.

Yet some insiders but no spoilers. You will most likely get chills running down your back, making you
scared shitless about having a roommate when you leave for college. So ask questions & do a possible background check.
Just sayin'.

So honestly, the actors were great. Plot was alright. Just not a box office hit in Schuyler's world.
It's now up to you, waste money at movies? Or get it at your local McDonald's RedBox later?

( By the way, excuse the messy paragraphs. My blogger is being a douche right now )

Studying, Movies, Kansas Weather

Well, here is the second post of my new blog! Joy to the world, right?

So, heads up with this. After this new post, I'll be posting a different one on a movie review since my Saturday night was a girls night & we went to the movies after a lovely meal. More to come on that subject though!

Currently in Kansas City, the weather is completely and utterly cold but beautiful. Now, I'm sure just about everyone in the state of Kansas is sick and tired of the home sweet home, Winter Wonderland scene. Since this is I believe the most snow we've had in a while? Can't recall, it's always something new with Kansas weather. But me, personally, I am enjoying the weather today. Even though the snow is taking advantage of my love for it. The fog outside is completely inspiring, I can't help. Reminds me of Vincent Price and Tim Burton, possibly the start of a wonderful series of poems and stories? Who wonders what will happen.

But as I engross myself in this new blog, I'm pushing studies aside because honestly, my studying is pointless to a degree. My school is corrupted and teachers just don't give a damn anymore. So why should I? Yet, in the end I always finish my projects and homework, not really caring what they think of it. I'm damn proud of what I get done. Which comes to a question for many of you; What do you think of the school system? I mean, be honest. You think it's going for the better? Going for the worst? You don't really care? I think the school board should listen to their students, not the teachers or administration. Aren't we the way of the future?

In all honesty, my weekend was fairly well. I had a nice little Saturday with my wonderful friend, Tareq, Autumn and Gerald. Great seeing them and all their weirdo glory. Then later that night, had a girl's night out with my best friend Victoria and Dora. Of course going out to eat and the movies, in the snow! Except after hours at the Legends and the foggy weather out. Seemed like a perfect setting for a dramatic horror movie. (;

I'll leave my ending here, hoping your weekends were the best as well.
& again, if you feel like I should mention something in my blogs, just let me know.

A New Start;

So once again I have returned! Now with a fresh, clean new start! I'm ready to blog about just anything and everything. But no I won't be like one of those 'OMG BOBBY WAZ SO HAWT TODAY! CAN U C Y I LYK THE GUY? ;)' That is a big no for me. Blogging to me is letting others know about my opinions, likes and interests.
Also followed along with my journey to my future. No harm in that. (:

Currently I had to remove all posts from the previous year due to personal family issues. So again, fresh new start for Schuyler Dawn.

Well on a side note, it's once again snowing in KC! Why am I not surprised? This is insane to be honest, I think the snow is taking advantage of my love for it. I am beginning to slowly detest it; only to forgive later on! Yet I love it all the same because this just means I can get into some comfy clothes, drink tea and watch movies while my two bastards drive me mad. What more could a girl ask for right? Though it's always nicer with people around!

I think this will be all I post today.
A good starter, right? I think so!

So any readers, stick around to see what I have to offer. Hell, suggest things for me to blog on! Maybe try to make a certain recipe, play a game, watch a movie, and whatever else! I'd love to try a lot of new things!
So comment away.
