Lately I've lost my taste for the music of today, which is nothing but artist bringing back electro. So I've been winding it down for the past year with my music, bringing back all my oldie favorites. Since they were basically the reasons for the music my generation today is so into.
As I sit here in my room, getting myself ready for the day. I go back on what me and my best friend have talked about when it comes to music today. Well guess what, it's gone to crap. Honestly, anyone can be a singer now since all the music world wants to see is a pretty face and a bangin' body. Forget the voice, we can electronically fix that in a jiffy! What has happened to real talent? It's being covered and pushed away by the blind society we live in.
Now I can go back, way back to the actual talent that created what you kiddies listen to today. Here are a few that might just be something new to you. Billy Holiday, The Beatles, Nirvana, David Bowie, KoRn, The Cure, Nena, Cyndi Lauper, The Kooks, Journey, U2, KISS, The Rolling Stones, Motely Crue, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, The Beastie Boys, Madonna, Elvis Presley, Queen, Sarah Brightman, Courtney Love, so on so forth. I could name more but these are some of the best and the ones I grew up on. So enough said, okay?
But today you got people like practically all of the Disney Channel going from actors to the next pop sensation for the tweens but then try to grow up and then let their young fans go sour with them. Big examples Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff. Great examples. I mean come on, you go blaming other people for your problems when its clearly your fault. Not the companies. So do some blow and smile for the paparazzi.
Then you have nothing but stars today going mainstream. Stay yourselves! Stay the way you were, the way people really fell in love for you! Not what a company makes you. Some of my biggest and all time favorite artists who haven't let the mainstream take over are Lady Gaga, Emilie Autumn, Avril Lavigne, Seether, The Gorillaz, Tokio Hotel, The Pretty Reckless, Evanescene, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy, etc. So, you can see what I'm saying? These artists have kept the same way since the beginning, yes they may have changed slightly but clearly they are still who they are. So believe when I say fuck the mainstream. If I were to ever make it far into the music industry, even if I only get so far I would stay myself. And I don't want to hear any bull crap about how 'Oh it's not their fault, it was a good change, blah blah blah' that doesn't mean shit.
I mean, listen to at least a few of the groups I listed previously. None of the ones I'm bashing. The ones I suggest. They are true blue talent and are as real as you can get. Instead your minds have been warped by the synthy electro pop, which is only coming back because apparently the system wants to taint your minds a little more. Hell I would rather you watch movies like Rocky Horror's Picture Show, Grease, Cry Baby and so on, because they have better music than most today.
Now I understand many of you might have different opinions and everything but guess what. I don't wanna hear it because this is clearly Schuyler Dawn's blog and that means that this is what I see, feel and hear. Now I'm open for comments and whatnot but don't get butt hurt just because I bashed one of your favorites. If that is what you think I did then I could go ahead and make a BASHING CELEBRITY BLOG if that makes you feel any better.
So here is first blog on my feelings for music, clearly that means there is more to come. So be waiting.
This is just a little of what comes out of my head, it could be many things. Rants? Likes? Ideas? You never know

U.N.I.K.O.R.N. . .& rainbows
Unusual titles call for unusual people, but all good! So tonight I was searching for inspiration for my next blog and what so happen to pop up into my phone. A little text with inspiration written all over it, not to mention it had inspiration written in the text.
Who may I say was this spark of inspiration? Well children, I begin the magical tale of this said inspiration.
Not to long ago in the days of yester-year ( real word? now it is. ) I being only a young child in my junior high year, I ventured into a site call MyYearBook. Now I had my doubts about such a site, since it was circled around romance and little strange things, so unfamiliar to me. I searched through vast amounts of people, who seems alright but turned out sour. Until I came cross a profile so enchanting, I had felt the slaps of many fairies and garden gnomes.
Being the curious child I was, also a friendly one, I sent this strange a message. A strange called, Adrian.
After said message, it would follow with many others which contained talks of music, ducks, super awesome ducks, squirrel chasing, photo battles and so on so forth, I shall not bore you with the rest of our amazing and grand adventures. Adrian and I soon became friends, venturing our friendship farther onto MySpace, which is where we continued our reign of chaos and glory. Ah, what a magical time!
Sadly every happy tale has a sad bit to it. For awhile me and my great friend Adrian had not talked in so long, even though he had a phone. Now only some people can truly understand how hard it is not getting to talk to someone that you care about, someone being one of your best friends. So I waited awhile, getting a few messages every now and then.
Till, one gloomy Sunday. This punk goes and texts me and I jump with glee ( not literally, I hate glee ). Since then we talk almost everyday even though it may be only for a few moments. Yet every conversation is a special one because we talk about things that make complete sense to us but to everyone else, they just don't get it. & that is completely okay with us! Right? Right.
So yes, I've written a blog on one of my best friends, also because he said that a blog about him would be boring. Uh, don't think so Adrian sir. Besides, I don't think my magical tale of our friendship was boring, so ha bitch slap in the face.
Here is the latest blog, btw sorry for my overall laziness. Not my fault ( kinda )

Soon To Come, Sit Back, Relax.
Yes, I know. I'm lagging again, not my fault.
I will be posting soon, just looking for a lot of inspiration at the moment.
